1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Blockticity's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our cryptographically verified trade document authentication platform.

2. Description of Services

Blockticity provides cryptographically verified document authentication and verification services for global trade, including:

• Trade document authentication and verification
• Conformity assessment infrastructure aligned to ASTM D8558-25
• EUDR documentation authentication
• Supply chain transparency and traceability
• Document ingest and verification interfaces, scoped per engagement

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices

5. Blockchain Technology and Immutability

Our services utilize blockchain technology. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Data written to the blockchain is permanent and cannot be modified or deleted
• Document hashes and verification records are immutably stored
• Blockchain transactions may take time to process and confirm
• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you submit for certification
• We are not responsible for blockchain network performance or availability

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Blockticity platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Blockticity and protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of documents and data you submit to our platform. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and authenticate your content as necessary to provide our services.

7. Fees and Payment

Certain services require payment of fees. You agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
• Provide accurate and complete billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method
• Pay any applicable taxes

We reserve the right to change our fees with 30 days' notice. Continued use of services after fee changes constitutes acceptance.

8. ASTM Standards Alignment

Our services are designed with reference to ASTM International standards, including ASTM D8558-25, Standard Guide for Verification of a Certificate of Authentication Used to Track Products Through Their Supply Chain by Utilizing Blockchain Technology. ASTM does not certify products or services against this guide, and nothing in these Terms constitutes a representation of certification or conformity assessment by ASTM. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services meets your specific regulatory requirements.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKTICITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blockticity, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

15. Changes to Terms
